{"id":20761,"date":"2021-04-10T21:53:48","date_gmt":"2021-04-10T19:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/all-digital.org\/?p=20761"},"modified":"2021-04-20T22:22:30","modified_gmt":"2021-04-20T20:22:30","slug":"cddc-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/all-digital.org\/cddc-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Crowddreaming: Youth Co-Create Digital Culture&#8221; Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 25 March <a href=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/category\/partners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/category\/partners\/\">CDDC project partners<\/a> organized <a href=\"https:\/\/all-digital.org\/projects\/crowddreaming-cddc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Crowddreaming: Youth Co-Create Digital Culture (CDDC)<\/a> final project conference. More than <strong>170 participants<\/strong> attended the online event that marks the completion of the CDDC project.<\/p>\n<p>The event offered inspiring keynotes, discussion with representatives of European institutions and civil society organisations, presentation of the CDDC project results and, finally, virtual experience of <a href=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/europa-square\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/europa-square\"><strong>Europa Square digital monument<\/strong><\/a> (you can visit the Europa Square by clicking the link).<\/p>\n<p>The event started with <strong>two keynotes<\/strong> from the experts in (digital) cultural heritage. The first one was delivered by <strong>Matev\u017e Straus<\/strong>, founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.id20.si\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.id20.si\/en\/home\/\">ID20 Institute for heritage innovations from Idrija<\/a> and Heritage+ Lead at Arctur who talked about the value and role of cultural heritage and how to tap the full potential of it with digitalisation.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-20538 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-14.32.38-300x128.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"652\" height=\"278\" srcset=\"https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-14.32.38-300x128.png 300w, https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-14.32.38-768x328.png 768w, https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-14.32.38-1024x438.png 1024w, https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-14.32.38-700x299.png 700w, https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-14.32.38.png 1406w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 652px) 100vw, 652px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The second keynote speaker was <strong>Gunnar Liest\u00f8l<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hf.uio.no\/imk\/english\/people\/aca\/gunnarl\/index.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hf.uio.no\/imk\/english\/people\/aca\/gunnarl\/index.html\">professor at Department of Media &amp; Communications<\/a> at University of Oslo. He has developed several hypermedia and augmented reality systems, including the award winning \u201cKon-Tiki interactive\u201d and \u201cOld Narva\u201d and leads <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sitsim.no\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/www.sitsim.no\/\">SITSIM project<\/a>. Below is the summary of them:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Training-Needs-Analysis-Report-and-Transfer-Framework.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Training-Needs-Analysis-Report-and-Transfer-Framework.pdf\">Training Needs Analysis Report and Transfer Framework<\/a><\/strong> introducing Crowddreaming method, presenting the analysis of the training needs of the participating schools from participating countries and outlining operational framework to transfer the good practice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>CDDC Learning Programme<\/strong> (Massive Open Online Course \u2013 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WP4_MOOC_design_and_piloting_report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WP4_MOOC_design_and_piloting_report.pdf\">MOOC<\/a><\/strong> including training content and workshops of the teachers with youngsters and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/WP3_Training_toolkit_Final_04022020.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/WP3_Training_toolkit_Final_04022020.pdf\">Training Toolkit<\/a><\/strong> for educators)<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/europa-square\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/europa-square\">Europa Square<\/a>\u201d <\/strong>as a digital monument to European transculturalism is an ecosystem composed by three main tightly interacting components: (1) The Museater, where values relevant to the community are preserved in time and staged as interactive digital stories, and augmented and virtual reality experiences; (2) The Community, that keeps the digital monument alive and meaningful and, (3) Online platform (VR version) where Community members meet, plan, work and deliver together.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WP6_Policy_recommendations_.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WP6_Policy_recommendations_.pdf\">Policy recommendations<\/a><\/strong> based on the results of training and piloting activities, for further transferability and upscaling of the project results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20542 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-16.39.01-300x166.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"652\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-16.39.01-300x166.png 300w, https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-16.39.01-768x425.png 768w, https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-16.39.01-1024x567.png 1024w, https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-16.39.01-700x388.png 700w, https:\/\/all-digital.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Screenshot-2021-03-25-16.39.01.png 1363w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 652px) 100vw, 652px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Two <strong>key reports<\/strong> have been produced by the CDDC project partners:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WP4_MOOC_design_and_piloting_report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WP4_MOOC_design_and_piloting_report.pdf\">Design, implementation and delivery of the MOOC Report<\/a><\/strong> sums up the evaluation results of the CDDC Learning Programme and feeds its findings into the MOOC upgrade and the policy recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WP5_Experimentation_report_EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/crowddreaming.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/WP5_Experimentation_report_EN.pdf\">Experimentation report<\/a><\/strong> explains the piloting methodology used to scale up the workshops with young people. It also contains evaluation results from the young people who participated in the workshops, teachers who were conducting the workshops and the national tutors who facilitated the piloting phase in their partner countries.
